Andre nærliggende ølande og territorier inkluderer Comorerne, Mayotte, Madagaskar, Réunion og Mauritius mod syd. Det varme vand i Det Indiske Ocean gør Seychellerne til det perfekte sted for vandentusiaster. HOVEDTURISTATTRAKTIONER • Strande. Mange af strandene er uberørte af menneskets indflydelse og er forfriskende ukronede. • Vallée de Mai er en nationalpark og verdensarvssted, hjemsted for fantastisk flora og fauna, inklusive verdens største frø: coco de mer. • Aldabra Atoll: Verdens største koralatoll, der strækker sig omkring 35 kilometer fra øst til vest og omslutter en enorm tidevandslagune. • Vandreture. Der er flere vedligeholdte vandreruter på hovedøen Mahé og nogle få på Praslin.
